They started as two, grew to five and now they are nine and counting. As a family photographer in Kansas City, it's a privledge to be invited into a family for a short time. Our morning at Loose Park was perfect. For a late June morning we couldn't have asked for better weather - it was 75°F and partly cloudy - unheard of for summer in Kansas City.
I have known Nancy for years through work and was honored she hired me to capture her entire family - even if they weren't too excited about an 8am session on a Saturday morning. But after our time exploring the rose garden and pond at Loose Park, everyone had a great time. She told me her family loved the experience -- that's what I strive for in a family session.
I hope as her family continues to grow they cherish these memories and maybe even invite me back in a couple years.
