It was supposed to be an extended family sessions with Libby and her sister and all their kids. But timing didn't work out last minute and being so close to Christmas we didn't have time to reschedule. But I am so glad she didn't cancel the session completely because her family is probably the most FUN family I have ever worked with. Seeing them laugh together was so refreshing and photographing older kids was a nice change of pace.
The purple color pallete that they wore was so fun as well (duh, it's my favorite color!) and it worked so well with the green backdrop. December isn't a typical time for family photos in Kansas City but we found a location with some nice pine trees which provided some color and texture as the backdrop for their family photo session at Heritage Park.
