Something wonderful happens when toddlers grow up. In my (limited) experience sometimes magical happens around age 3.5 and the kiddos get so fun. These two boys are 3 and 5 and were a lot of fun at our session. We laughed the whole time and they did such a great job.
Pair that with an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Fall evening - I mean, look at that light! Our session at Balck Hoof Park in Lenexa, KS was magical and I am in love with all the photos from their session. These boys knocked it out of the park!
As Mom and Dad were watching their boys, you could see the happiness and pride for their little guys. When it was their time to jump in for some shots, they loved getting to snuggle with their boys and we captured some amazing moments.
The photo of Dad and his boys walking through the woods was a specific idea the family suggested. Dad had a photo of himself walking through the woods with his father and he wanted to recreate this moment with his boys and I hope he loves this photos for years to come. Maybe it will become a tradition for generations.
In between all the fun, we got some amazing group shots and family portraits that I hope Mom is so proud to have.
And don't forget the photo of just Mom and Dad. This is where it all starts and I always make my couples cuddle up for a few photos without the kids.
