These three kiddos!?! They were so cute and did so good at our session at Black Hoof Park in Lenexa, KS. Each kid's personality was so different yet they fit together so well. Their oldest, age 3 1/2, is full of spunk and so friendly. Their middle, age 2 (our session was on his birthday!), is camera shy but so well behaved. And their youngest, age 6 months, is so chill and easy-going.
I can only imagine what a day in their life looks like with three littles but I am sure as the years come and go, these three are going to be super close and have so much fun!
The evening light during our session was truly amazing and I loved shooting at this location. We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too busy.
The picture below is one of my favorites from their session. No one is looking in the same direction but it tells such a story. Mom admiring her little one, sister trying to make sure she doesn't fall off the stool, brother checking out the lake and Dad looking "where he is supposed to". Sometimes it's the not-so-picture-perfect photos that you will appreciate so much years in the future. Of course the photo on the right is the "perfect" family portrait that every mom wants but the story isn't as strong of the "real" photo. I love being able to capture both types of images and memories for my clients during our session.
