Motherhood. For Rachel, her journey is just beginning and each day she gets that much closer to holding her daughter in her arms instead of in her body. Documenting new mothers is amazing and so much fun.
We had planned her session for the last weekend of April in hopes of the spring flowers be in bloom. Leading up to the day we weren't sure if that was going to happen but mother nature came through just in time. Lake Olathe, in western Olathe, KS was the perfect spot for Rachel's 35 week maternity session!
She brought the most adorable booties and they were such a simple but perfect prop to include in her photos. I love when clients bring something special to their sessions to really help make it personalized to them.
Future Dad Josh wasn't super excited to be in the photos {like most Dads} but he did awesome and jumped in like a pro.
And can we just stop for a second and give Rachel total props for choosing a beautiful dress. She completely rocked that dress and it was the perfect compliment to the green grass and pink flowering trees. Good job Mama!
We explored the park and found the most amazing spot {even if it was in the middle of the Frisbee golf course}. I mean, look at that light! :)
