Most people do not know how much potential their home holds for a lifestyle photo session. Do me a favor: turn off the lights, pull back the curtains, open the blinds and watch how the light fills your beautiful home. When I arrived at Mallary's Prairie Village home for her maternity session and she showed me around, I instantly knew the perfect places to shoot. The couch in front of the large front window with plantation shutters, the large window in the bonus room and the master bedroom would make for a great variety of locations for their session.
Khane was more excited to tell me about his cats rather than talk about his little brother's pending arrival but that was okay with me - he was super sweet and so well behaved. And I love that one of their cats joined in for a few photos as well.
We also captured some great photos of the parents-to-be in each location.
And what maternity session would be complete without documenting the glowing mama-to-be with her baby bump.?
