In my former life I was a high school math teacher in Shawnee Mission, KS and there are some {ok maybe most} parts of that job that I don't miss, I did thouroughly enjoy working with high schoolers. Connecting with my students and learning about them was fantastic. So, now, being able to meet more great "kids" and help document this special time in their academic and personal life thus far is truly an honor. While I am located in Olathe, KS, I work with seniors from all around Kansas City and even beyond. I photographed my niece in Chicago a few years ago and since then have meet some bright, funny and beautiful seniors.
Libby was nervous for her shoot and kept saying how awkward she felt posing, but GIRL, you totally rocked it. The West Bottoms always provides a great backdrop and tons of options to add awesome variety to the gallery. I love how every time I go down there I find a different nook so each gallery is truly unique.
