Sunflare was supposed to be the name of the game this week. But I honestly didn't get my camera out very much during this week. We spent 15 solid days cleaning up our rental house to get it ready to put on the market. Most evenings after work were spent at the house and the kids were at Grandma's. So photography had to take a back seat big time this week. But life happens and that's totally ok. I did still get my camera out one night, took about 10 photos, switched to freelens and took about 5 more. Super quick, simple, nothing fancy, not "on prompt" but still a fun moment captured. Landon loves playing with his trains - they are literally ALL. OVER. MY. HOUSE!
A note about my settings and setup (shot in manual mode).
Like a broken record...I used my 35mm lens again. I just love what I can capture with it to capture a bigger scene in one frame.
I felt kind of in a rut so I decided to switch it up and practice freelensing again. Like I said above, I only took about 5 photos so I didn't experiment with a lot of different angles and focal points.
It was evening and still pretty bright so I set the ISO at 320 since it wasn't full sun but still plenty bright out.
I adjusted the shutter speed to be really fast so that any motion of Landon moving the trains would be frozen with no blur.
I got down as low as possible in order to get a leading line and also a better perspective.
